2. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

After completing your registration, if your user account requires Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), you will need to follow the steps to finish the setup and ensure greater security.

  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a security method that requires more than one verification factor to ensure that only authorized users can access the system.
  • With MFA, in addition to the traditional password, the user needs to provide a second form of authentication. Its implementation significantly reduces the risk of cyberattacks and strengthens platform security.

2.1. Benefits of MFA

  • Increased security: Reduces the risk of breaches, even if the password is compromised.
  • Protection against phishing attacks: Stolen passwords are not enough to access the account.
  • Compliance with security regulations: Many regulations require MFA to protect sensitive data.
  • Ease of implementation: It integrates with various authentication methods, offering flexibility for the user.

2.2. Multi-Factor Authentication Setup

  • After entering your password, click Continue to proceed with the MFA setup.
